A big Thank You to Dolores for sending in pictures of her pet bird for my new "Pet Challange" (details posted below). It is an Orange Weaver, or Red Bishop as called in it's native country. I was inspired by her pictures to make a miniature needle felted tapestry featuring an Orange Weaver. The Tapestry is 2 inches high and 1.5 wide. It has a felt backing and a gold hook on top for wall or purse hanging, or even for use as a necklace or decorative fan pull.
Thanks again Dolores! I had fun making my first Orange Weaver : )
